    Subtitles

    Hi there !

I get a weird problem when watching some subtitled movies.
I watch them in Windows mediaplayer.
    Sometimes i get double subtitles.
    Very annoying !!
    Does anybody know why ?

I have installed the latest divx codec.
    the latest vobsub
    i run on Windows 98
and have the latest Direct X.

    Hi Andy !

You've probably installed two Subtitle Filters (VobSub and ... ?)

    Uninstall one of them

Well, there must be some sort of uninstaller ...

or try to execute "regsvr32 /u DVobSub.ax" in your system directory

Hi, now i have a question for you guys...!
how do i install or what do i install to watch subtitles in windows media player... i have been trying to find the answer for 3months now and nobody can answer it... bu now i see that "andy" wrote that he uses vobsub...
my problem is: before i formattet my HD, i could play movies (avi mpg...) in Windows Media Player with subtitles! the only thing i did was : example- shrek.avi should be in the same directory+name as the subtitle = shrek.sub/.srt

is it vobsub i should install? and if it is how do i install it? and where do i find the prober version...

            thanks for your time!
