Drive is older that the inhabitants of Jurassic park. Try to find a firmware update.

In the meantime, read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning. If that doesn't help, it's a new drive, I think.

Regards

Thanks for your imput,
I had hard time to update the drive. All the info to update the firmware has a link to this site www.rpci.org that vanished. I know it's an old drive but it was working all right. I updated the drive
[1:0] D:\ HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA- 4020B firmware version A105 to A109 but I'm still having the same error. I don't know if that's the latest firmware or if there is anything else that can be done to fix the problem.

Thank you guys,
So, by updating the firmware should it be enough to fix this error I'm getting with Imgburn or is there anything else that need to be done?
Cheers,

I still think your drive is very long in the (sabre) tooth. A new one is on the cards pretty soon.

Just to avoid confusion...the link is http://www.rpc1.org As chewy stated, the site should be back up soon to check for an update.
