Default New user to ImgBurn

I've been trying to use Nero to burn an ISO image
but I'm having no luck....

Found ImgBurn doing a google search.....

Installed just fine on my IBM Thinkpad with:

Mat****a UJDA 755z DVD/CDRW.....

Fired the baby up and proceeded to burn an
ISO image... Imgburn seemed to be going through
the correct motions. It took about 2 minutes
to burn and it finally signalled Success!!

So, I tried to browse the CD but I keep getting:

D:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.

I took the CD out of the drive and on visual
inspection, it looks like it wrote it fine.

I did this on two different disks, one a CD-R
the other a CD-RW.... Same problem with both...
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Are you saying you are trying to burn an ISO image file to a CD?

Video + Audio = DVD.
Audio = CD.

I use nero 6.3.1.25 version to burn ISO files and it works fine. I've burned several different things that way. I think some of the older versions of Nero are better than the new version. Go to www.oldversion.com and download an older version, I'll leave it up to you on how to get the key. It has worked fine for me for any sort of ISO.

Let ImgBurn verify what it has written.

When ImgBurn is open, it's kinda stops the OS from seeing the disc - because it can interfere with the burn.

You'd need to close ImgBurn down, eject the disc, refresh explorer and the reinsert the disc. Window's AutoPlay feature should then kick in and will read what's on the disc.

Of course it could just be that what you've burnt is an invalid ISO.
