Default AC3 or SDDS audio ?

What esactly is the difference between AC3 and SDDS audio and which is best.

AC3 audio is used on DVD's, that is why it is so high in sound.

Convert the AC3 to MP3 and downsample it to 44100Hz, u will get same quality (maybe 5% loss)

SDDS is a Sony Digital *something* System.

Dunno what it is but between SDDS and AC3, I think AC3 is the best.
