Default Altering size

Hey guys,
I have a question; is it possible to alter the frame size of a movie that is encoded. I didn't make it but everyone in the movie looks short and fat. Anyhelp would be appreciated

altering the video PERMANENTLY is a problem since it will take quite some time and effort and most important it requires re-encoding and thus will loose some quality.

you can, however, simply use a player like MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC to change the aspect ratio for viewing that particular title .

using the number block keys like: 4- 6 or 8-2 will change the aspect ratio in media player classic.
