Default Audio-video sync problems

Hello. I have a terrible problem with my computer. A lot of movies have audio-video sync problems. Generally the audio roles ok, but the image sometimes seems to be played in slow motion. I┤ve tried the nandub, and it doesn┤t seem to fix anything, besides i┤ve tried the movies in other computers and they work just fine. It seems that the main problem is with xvid movies, but it happens sometimes with some divx rips. I┤ve tried the Nimo pack, the bs player, the core media player, i┤ve installed and uninstalled thousands of codec, pack, directshow filters, players, and wathever you want to imagine, and nothing seems to work. So, if anyone of you can help me with this, i┤ll be more than grateful and that person can be sure that if some time in his life want to come to spent a holiday in Argentina my home will be open. But, PLEASE HELP ME! . Well, thats all for now.

ohh: i forgot to tell you. I have a Pentium III 1.0 Ghz, with 128 mb memory, Nvidia Graphic card, running XP
