Question-2 Changing Aspect Ratio by editing AVI Tags?

I have encoded a DVD with DVD2AVI. As there were 4 VOBs I got 4 Files. All have 720x576 pixels, but file 1-3 displays falsely with 4:3 aspect ratio and file 4 correct with 16:9. How can I change this without recompressing the files? It must be possible as file 4 displays correctly althogh it has 720x576 pixels!!!!

"I have encoded a DVD with DVD2AVI"
This is not the right tool for converting DVD to DivX. It serves a better purpose as a frameserver instead.

Use DVD2AVI to save a project (D2V) file and open it in GordianKnot. From there, it can automatically do the necessary stuff (cropping, resizing, etc.) and start the encoding without you having to fuss too much on what to do. Lastly, you can specify to the program what aspect ratio the movie is in as well.
