Unhappy Divx Quality

Does using the divx pro codec improve quality instead of the standard one.

Yes because some features are disabled with the standard whereas the pro has all. If you are wondering which codec is the best to use then i would go for the 5.0.5 (but it's up to you).

b-frames is something one shouldnt do without when going for lower bitrate conversions!
