Default Filters and GordianKnot

Ok finally figured out why GordianKnot is so popular. I agree that it appears overwhelming in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it simply rocks!!! Here is my question:

Is there anyway I can still use the VirtualDub/Nandub filters in GordianKnot? Especially the logo filter. I need to add a logo to all the video I rip and burn. Makes organizing easier.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Simply open the AVS file that GordianKnot has generated in Virtual/nandub. Apply the filter, configure the codecs for processing and start the encoding.

This is what I used to do but found the audio interleaving a little bothersome. With GordianKnot I can have all of this taken care of in one go. Is there anyway I can save a profile in VirtualDub/Nandub to pull the logo and have it called from GordianKnot?

I have another issue: I am using a PII 400MHz with XP pro. Whenever I try to rip and encode a NTSC Film, I see frames being dropped. I use 1 Pass encoding at 750Kbps. I figured, the resolution might be too high for the processor and reduced it to 480x360 and still having the same issue. Audio seems to be fine but Video appears to be in slow motion. Do you guys think that this is due to the processor or my settings?

DVDDecryptor
DVD2AVI - Forced film
GordianKnot (Avisynth)
VirtualDub - Divx Pro - 1Pass - 750Kbps
BeSweet (Audio) - AC3 - MP3 @128Kbps
NanDub

Check that you have disabled ALL post-processing settings during playback. In addition, check that you have DMA enabled for your drives.

Are you using dual-channel sound streams?

Thanks so much for your help Enchanter. I finally figured it out. Its the processor. I had to bring the resolutions down further and it worked. I am getting a new P4 2.53GHz tomorrow so hopefully shouldn't run into this problem again.

Thanks again for your help.

You're welcome.

Enjoy your new processor by the way. Can't wait till my own upgrade cycle comes around.
