Default How is DivX pronounced?

Hi all.

Recently I had a real life converstation with a guy about DivX. He didn't know anything about it but I knew quite a bit.

The thing was, I didn't know how to pronounce it. I say is as in (div-ex) but I'm not sure as I though it could also be (D.I.V-ex) or something like that.

Anyone know?

There does not seem to be any official pronunciation for DivX, though I would most probably use the same one as yours (All my friends do).

Yeah, I think I'll stick to the way I say it.
