Unhappy-2 joining with different audio streams

I have a two DVD movie I want to join.
I have encoded to divx using GN.
The issue is I encoded the first DVD which is two-thirds of the movie at one setting. I then was forced to reinstall my OS and I neglected to save my log files, so I don't know how to set GN back up to the same settings.
I get the following dialogue boxwhen I attempt to append the two segments:

The information is as follows -using Nandub File Information:

CD1:
Video Stream:

Frame Size: 608x448, 23.976fps(41708us)
# of Frames: 254910(2:57:11)
Decompressor: DivX Pro 5.0.2 Codec
Number of Key Frames: 1105
Min/Avg/Max/Total Key Frame Size: 2969/27126/74840 (29272k)
Min/Avg/Max/Total Delta Frame Size:142/7804/85734 (1934419k)

CD2:
video stream:

Frame Size: 608x448, 23.976fps(41708us)
# of Frames: 128562(1:29:22)
Decompressor: DivX Pro 5.0.2 Codec
Number of Key Frames: 669
Min/Avg/Max/Total Key Frame Size: 2971/27272/64071 (17818k)
Min/Avg/Max/Total Delta Frame Size:142/6775/62669 (846213k)

CD1:
Audio Stream:

Sampling Rate: 48000hz
Channels: 2(stereo)
Sample Precision: 0-bit
Compression: fraunhofer IIS MPEG layer 3 codec
Preload Skew: 1 samples (0.00)
# of Frames: 442991
min/avg/max/total frame size: 96/389/960/ (168655k)

CD2
Audio Stream:

Sampling Rate: 48000hz
Channels: 2(stereo)
Sample Precision: 0-bit
Compression: fraunhofer IIS MPEG layer 3 codec
Preload Skew: 1 samples (0.00)
# of Frames: 223419
min/avg/max/total frame size: 96/389/960/ (168655k)

In the properties\details box I get the following:

CD1: 191 KB\sec
CD2: 178 KB\sec

I will redo the movie if required though I was wondering what, if any, calculation could be made to encode to to the same rate.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Default

I think I worked it out.
I downsampled CD2 to 44100hz whereas CD1 was encoded at 48000hz, from memory which ain't the best
Query: why does the properties\details (when right-clicking the .avi file) box still describe the audio as 48000hz??
