Unhappy Possible Causes Of Failed DivX Encoding

hi all,

like my prev post regarding probs with Xmepg, now even GK doesn't work as well. Both would stop & errors happened at around 50% completion and happened every single time, despite trying different films which were correctly ripped with all those de-macro and region-unlock stuff enabled.

I tried reinstalling everything relating to divx (encoders, codecs...etc) but still to no avail. I can't encode anything now. Will a clean format solve my problems?

thanks for all your help.

make sure your system is STABLE

ram, overheating cpu/chipset and much more could cause this!
