Default Problem in Gknot

I'm ripping 'Rush Hour 2' using Gordian Knot. I'm now choosing the resolution. I set it to the highest possible but the 'bits/pixel is 0.317. This is the lowest i could get it. I thought you for a 2cd rip you should go about 0.27 as if i go above 0.35 I might not be able to reach my desired filesize.

So what should i do?

If you are at 0.35 bpp with 704*X res with a 2 CD rip, I would probably go for a one cd and a res of 608*X or 576*X. Or if you are an audio freak you might go for AC3 audio.

You can get a really god quality on Rush Hour 2 in only one CD. The reason fo your problem is because the bitrate is to high. When the movie is about 120 min it's time to switch to 2 CD:s instead of one.

my bits/pixel = 3.05 with a res of 800*336 for a 2cd rip. Would this be ok

Also when saving it as an .avs should i let Gknot choose its own resizing or should i choose neutral bicubic.

Thanx

If it doesn't complain to much it should go Still if you want to convert Rush Hour 2 I would go with 1 CD. The quality wont get that much better since the movie is only 90 minutes long. I have it on 1 CD and it's DVD quality.
If you really want to encode in 2 CD:s that's your choice.

About the resizing filter it's up to you. Choose what you feel appropriat (don't know the spelling). In that case you could go with whatever GK says is good.
