Default Resolution Question ... svcd > divx

all svcds are 4:3 but when converting one to divx to watch on my computer i dont want it to be 4:3. is there a way to adjust this without having the original source. thnx

What makes you think that?

NTSC SVCD=480x480 or 1:1

PAL SVCD=480x576 or 5:6

ooopps missunderstood something that i read. i have an svcd that is 4:3 and im wondering if when i convert it to divx can i make it 16:9 or will that mess something up
