Default Cropping causes Encoding Failure?

#note edited previous post..

Seems my logo filters aren't causing my errors.

I cannot at all crop any dimensions of my file, if I do then when encoding in virtualdub the process stops. My AVS script.

LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\MPEG2Dec3.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\DVD Rips\divas4\output\layla_felicity.d2v")
Crop(8,4,696,472)
LANCZOSResize(512, 384)

I've also tried other resize methods are I still get the same encoding failure.

Anyone help?

thomas

maybe repeating the d2v creation or even reripping the data might help?
