Default Volume too low in divx movie

hi,
i just encoded the matrix dvd to divx using dr. divx !! video is great but sound/volume is too low !! pls can i replace the audio stream in avi file with a normalized one!! one with a high volume!!
pls tell me how to do it!!

i have dvd decrypted on disk using dvd decrypter!!

Hi!

U can use VirtualDub (www.virtualdub.com) this way:
Load the file, then select
video/direct stream copy
and
audio/ full processing mode
on audio/compression select the same compression-bitrate that u used
on audio/volume select Adjust... and set the slider to 600-800%
Then:
file/save as avi

This way u won't have any loss of quality
