Default dvd music video edit

i have a dvd music video that i want to edit the chit chat between do i do this

Get an editor.
If it's avi, get virtualdub.
If it's mpeg, get Cuttermaran, VideoReDo, or Womble.

Use DVD Decrypter (freeware) in "File" mode to "rip" (remove copy protection and write to your harddrive) "ALL files" (NOT just "movie files") to your harddrive>

Then use TMPGEnc DVD Author (commercial software - FULLY functional free 30 day trial version available for download) to easily edit and burn...
