Default Mpeg2 Ac3 Encoder Card

I have accepted that I am going to have to compress rips to get them onto a 4.7gb dvd.

However the processing time is taking a very long time. So what I am wondering is there a MPEG2 with AC3 enncoder card available to buy that will encode in real time or near enough real time, I am interested in anything that will reduce the encoding time.

I have a AMD Thunderbird 1400mhz processer it takes about 30 hours or so to compress and the quality is not as good as i hoped.

Cheers
