Default How to formate Media subtitler so to create sutitles in un-supported languages

I just wanted to know how I can create subtitles in language that are not in the list of Media Subtitler's Language and encoding or the Character set section. I have created a subtiltle in notepad and saved it in unicode but I tried every thing but was unable to get the right characters in both the panel and and the preview section. Please help or my work will go in-vain.
I even tried the solution given in the forum but was unsuccessful.
How should I set the character if I select custom so that I get my Language characters to work.
Please help I'm desperate.
