Default Authoring - Software / Hardware - encoding

Does anyone know which software is best for DVD authoring files that are software encoded with programs like TMPEGEnc. I use Ulead DVD workshop for the Hardware encoded stuff, but want to find something that works for files that are converted to mpeg2 after being run through TMEGEnc.

I use TMPGEnc in conjunction with Preimeire and that works great for converting from mini DV and AVI after Premiere, but not for DVD Workshop. I use Ulead movie factory for the soft-encode mpeg2 file right now, but it is lacking in content and has nowhere the amount of features that workshop has. You would think that soft-encoded files would work with Ulead DVD Workshop if they work in Ulead Movie factory. Right? Well, they don't.

Anyone know of any solutions. Are there plugins that correct this? I looked on the Ulead site, but nothing there.
