Default change the background of an existing dvd menu

With the program menuedit you can delete the functionality of a button in an existing dvd menu's. If you play the DVD on your standalone DVD player, you won't be able to select the button, which is exactly what I want. The only thing is, the button is still visible because the text is saved in the background picture. How can I edit the background picture? So you won't see the text of the button anymore.

This has to be the easiest way to keep the original menu!
