Default Divx back to dvd

I wonder if any one can help. I have a 700mb divx file, thats obviously once came from a dvd no more than 8gb. When i try encoding it back with tmpge the file is 11gb @3000kb/s. Aint there a peice of software which reverses the intial encode.

I appreciate your help, im sorry if its an annoying question i get them on forums im a regular on too. I did have a browse before i posted

There's a forum for DivX conversion daniel. They may be able to help you. Have you tried doom9?

Make sure the AUDIO is set to 224Kbps and not 448...
