Putting the sweet talk aside, to answer ben's question, this method makes IFOs for a single VTS and puts the basic navigation commands in that are exactly the same as a DVD Shrink reauthor does.

If you are doing it for a different VTS than VTS_01, you will need also to rename your VOBs to VTS_01, as it produces IFOs for VTS_01 only.

If you want the full disk and have say 5 VTSs, you need to do this procedure 5 times, renaming the VTSs to VTS_01 each time (obviously in 5 different output folders).

Then, in order to construct a full DVD, use PgcEdit's import VTST feature to import the VTSs in any order you like. You may then write your VM commands to author the DVD's navigation the way you want it.

Doing the simple re-author is child's play. Doing a full disk requires good knowledge of the VM commands. But the latter gives you total freedom on how to author the DVD the way you want it.

You can add menus later with a prog like Titlewriter or DVD Styler.

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to for their supply and great service.

Mahalo blu for answering my question. Actually, for demonstation purpose, jmet used a DVD movie with .ifo files deleted and then created the new .ifo files after that. That was why he could open with DVD Shrink without error. In reality, we need to have new .ifo files because we've changed, added, or altered the vob. files from different DVDs or .mpg files. That why we have to do more steps (Get VTS sectors, Mock Strip) in order to build the new .ifo files correctly
