Default mpeg2 to dvd

What would be the quickest and easiest way to convert a mpeg2 to menues and needed files to burn to a dvd. My wife captures her movies to mpeg2's and wants me to burn to dvd for her. Making it possible for the other scout mothers to get copies. I would like to set it up so i can teach her to do it.

1) Use "TMPGEnc" to convert to DVD-compliant MPEG2 format

2) Use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (a different program) to easily create menus and other required DVD files and structure

3) Use NERO to burn as "DVD-Video"

Its possible to capture directly to dvd, dvd folder, or streams for authoring with a authoring app. You might not have to convert at all depends on how flexible your capture device is or software
