Default mpg file bigger than 4.7 gb !

Dear all,

I have created a movie in mpg and the resulting file is about 6 gb . Now when I try to burn a dvd it says that the file won't fit. What burner or transcoding program should I use to be able to fit the movie on one dvd ?

Thanks, Marco

DVD Shrink (After you've converted the MPEG-2 file to a DVD "package")...

Use Ulead Media Studio Pro 7 to re-encode the mpeg file by changing the bit rate of the output movie.
eg..2hr movie using 224kb/s audio and variable bit rate of 5000 kb/s video will create a 4G of movie file.
