Excellent.

I didn't know there was a bug in DVD Decrypter. I must be lucky as I recently did 12 discs with no problem.

@r0lZ

I think you said you did this, but is the macro to correct stream numbers in VMG/VTSI_MAT fixed?

Oh, yes! I forgot to mention it in the history.
[EDIT] No, I did not mention it in the history, because this bug was present only in 0.5.2 beta releases.

@r0lZ - thanks - but it didn't need mentioning as it worked perfectly in v5.1

@nwg - you were right about your suspicions re burning with new version of DVD Decrypter!!!!

Luckily, I have not experienced this error.

Take care. There is a bug in the menu editor in PgcEdit v0.5.2.
If you create a button (or sevaral buttons) in a cell originally without buttons, the new button is not correctly saved to disc.

You may however use the menu editor on cells with buttons without problems.

I'll release v0.5.3 soon...

@blutach I got holda ur guide for putting the menus back in a reauthored dvd - looks good - I guess use menu shrink first right? I gotta do this to all 3 of the lil kids stuff I wanna put on a dvd for my grandson.. I played with PgcEdit.2 I just got and hit the add menu utility and I seen the screen where it was referencing the 3 titles but after that I got lost Got a hint what to do next ? Ya know, to be able to pick at the beginning what movie to play outta the 3

@r0lZ - Thanks for the heads up I'll play with .2 'til .3 final is out. I got the .3 beta I'll take a look at it.

You don't need MenuShrink and I am working on an update to that guide, which eliminates all the navigation problems and exporting of commands. This will be out in a week or so, if you can wait.

For mine, the easiest thing to do now, is backup in full disk mode, after menu shrinking and eliminating extras with VobBlanker/PgcEdit.

@blutach Wait, no problem! I got plenty of time. I'll just put cotton in me ears when Lil Danny starts yellin' PopPop - Barney, PopPop - Elmo, PopPop - ABC's, PopPop - numbers The little bugger's lucky he's part of the family!
I know I could play the individual dvd's into my settop and get the little icons for each so he can pick one but that'll take a lot of time and won't have the navigation to chapters unless I hit the edit button at the beginning of each segment of each dvd.

Plus the PgcEdit thing and all the rest is more of a challenge and a good schoolin' experience.

Thanks to all!!

Default PgcEdit 0.5.3

PgcEdit 0.5.3 released

It's principally a bugfix release. Please download it!
  • Added an option in Info -> Calls Cross References do delete the commands in the unreferenced PGCs, and to clear the Prev/Next/GoUpPGC links. May be used to find more unreferenced PGCs in subsequent calls to the Calls Cross References function. Also, another option allow to convert unreferenced menu PGCs to dummies, to easily blank them with VobBlanker.
  • Added "Delete All Commands" in the Edit (and popup) menu.
  • Important bug in v0.5.2 fixed: new buttons created in a cell originally without buttons/BOVs were saved only in the first nav pack of the cell.
  • PgcEdit was unable to parse the VTSM_C_ADT table if the table was present, but with no entries defined in the table. Fixed now.
  • Fixed a bug in the parsing of the VTS_C_ADT table, occuring in rare circumstances: a wrong Nav Pack number was read, causing the search for menu buttons or BOVs to fail.
  • Inport First-Play/Intro/Closing Clip: The cell commands numbers of the imported title are now forced to 0 in the cell playback table.
  • Added a little delay when the Open DVD/Save DVD file requester is closed, to avoid a little Tk bug.
