Question-2 Tmpg dvd author problem, Dvd Shrink & BAD BOYS 2

Hi All,

Re-authored BAD BOYS 2 w/ Dvd Shrink, movie title and one audio

stream only. Loaded it in to TMPGEnc Dvd Author and it only

loaded 14 of the 28 Chapters. Also played Dvd Shrink files w/

Power Dvd and all was fine. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

A sure-fire way to get your DVD Shrink movie into TMPGenc DVD Author is to merge the VOB's of the actual movie. Find the VOB that the movie starts with ( there can be 1 or 2 VOB's at the start which don't contain the movie...the movie starts with the first large VOB (close to 1GB)...confirm by playing...it'll be VTS_01_01.vob usually). I use AVI_MPEG_RM_WMV to merge and then take the merged VOB into TMPGenc DVD Author. There's probably an easier way to get the DVD file in by using the IFO file....but a merged VOB goes in every time.

Just to let you know that I had no such difficulty (NTSC version) using DVD Shrink v.2.3 and "TMPGEnc DVD Author" v.15.15.49...

I also used the (NTSC version), but I used DVD Shrink v.3.0 Beta 5 and TMPGEnc DVD Author v.15.15.49.

Thanks, I'll try using DVD Shrink v.2.3

Hey guys, I think I found my problem. I tried combining all the vobs, I used DVD Shrink 2.3 & 3.0.b5 and It still wounld'nt work, but what I failed to tell you guys is that the one audio file I used was the DTS 5.1 and TMPGEnc DVD Author I Believe could'nt read this format. What do you think?

"TMPGEnc DVD Author" DEFINITELY cannot use DTS audiostreams, but that wouldn't account for it recognizing only 14 of 28 chapters...
