Default Undocumented benefit of MenuShrink!!!

Was just testing MS with Shrek and it has loads of unreferenced material in its menu.

Well, MS turns this into a still.

So, if you are looking for another way to do this, MenuShrink is your answer.

Regards

Is that the R4 version?

I have the R1 of Shrek and it has very little unreferenced material on the disc.

Yes, it's the R4 - VIDEO_TS.VOB has 282k of useful cells (VIDS 1 and 2). VID3, which is unreferenced is 200Mb of the dragon swooping over and over and over. MS reduced this to a still of the dragon (naturally)!

I really wonder why in the heck they do that!! I don't really think it's to max out the DVD (to make shrinking it more difficult) although that's not unthinkable.

Remember R4's Mulholland Drive experience Jean. Apart from not being able to understand the movie, understanding the structure of the DVD was c'est pas possible!!!

That sounded familiar.

The R1 is two discs (one widescreen and one 4:3). I just found out that the 4:3 menu is 200MB more than the widescreen one. It also has 282k in the video_ts.vob.

It seems to be 650MB of referenced material. I haven't a clue where the extra 200MB comes from.
