Default Want to remove useless part of Menu

In PgcEdit some VTS's show Angle, SubPic, Audio menus but they have no function as I removed them. How can I remove them from showing in the titles or can't it be done so should I put in place PUO's.

Be careful about removing named menus. If you are absolutely sure they are never called, you can put in PUOs and then delete uncalled PGCs.

Regards

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.

I remove all foreign languages and directors audio, and any subtitles, etc so there is nothing to choose from.

The fact that a menu PGC is called, for example, "SubpicM" in PgcEdit doesn't mean that it is used to select the subtitles. The author of the DVD may have decided to use it for something totally different. To be SURE that it is not called, right-click the menu PGC, and select Go To Calling Command. If the list of calling commands is empty, you can safely delete the PGC.

Note also that a named menu PGC can theoretically be called with a button of the remote, but most of the time, the remote do not have buttons to call the Subpic, Audio, Chapter and Angle menus.

Anyway, if you want to get rid of a menu PGC, I suggest to blank it instead of removing it completely. You can accept the option to remove the video and convert it to a dummy. When prompted, select the button that returns to the main menu. It's the safest way to remove a menu, without risk to break the navigation.

As blu has suggested, you can also set the PUO in the titles of the same VTS, to disable completely the possibility to call the menu.

Another way to accomplish this is to convert the named entry menu to a standard PGC. Right-click it, and select Set Menu Type, then select "none".

Thanks r0lZ. There are no calling commands and the "Set Meny Type ... None", is what I needed to clean it up.
