Default What is the recommended DVD Burning program?

I ask becuase my friend has a DVD burner and when he burn a DVD using Nero and try play it in his machine (DVD LG 4149P) he got jumps in the movie, the DVD is not viwed correctly and my friend is very disappointed about that .

I told him that the problem could be in the burning program (NERO) or in the speed of the burning but he says it's not that.

Is there a much better burning tool for DVD that makes the DVD-R more "Complaiment" ?

(Example: Like the EasyVCD for S\VCD)

The current versions (5.5.10.15 and later) of NERO burn DVDs flawlessly in the "DVD-Video" mode...

Unhappy

It sounds more like the movie is not ripped-encoded correctly. I have seen a few that did this. They were encode to dvd from a low bitrate avi. Garbage in-Garbage out.

Default I'll explain the problem

I have DVD Burner of pioneer a05.

I am using smart ripper and DVDShrink.

when I play the DVD from my hard drive, everything go well.
I burn the DVD with NERO, and when I Play the burned DVDR in my machine (DVD LG 4149P) it's go well in the begining, But from the middle of the movie to the end it's start to jump.

I'm using a DVDR of MCD (not a known company) and their CDR are works perpectly, Mybe their DVDR are not good ?
What do you think it may be that cause the problem ?

Default Burning a DVD

Hi

I made some experience with my Sony DVD burner (+/-R/RW) and burn my DVDs (+ or -) with the software Record Now DX Version 4.6 and have no problems.

Regards

That may very well be the cause of your problem. As an experiment, you should purchase one, or a small quantity, of BRANDED (Maxell, Verbatim, etc.) DVD-R - and see if that doesn't resolve your playback difficulties...

Let's a not rule out the man's DVD player. Take the DVD to another machine and see if it still does the same thing. Rule out hardware, then software and then media and vice a versa. Oh what software program are you using to play the DVD in?
