Default PlayStation Network "Welcome Back" Goodies Revealed

Sony has revealed what gamers will get in compensation for the PSN being down for the last three weeks.

Details on what U.S. and Canadian PS3 users will get was posted on the official PlayStation blog, and as expected, it includes two free game downloads from a list of five. But instead of some crapware, Sony are pulling out the big guns with some well known games. PS3 owners can choose from two of the following downloadable PS3 games:
  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Super Stardust HD
  • Wipeout HD + Fury
In addition, PSP owners also get to choose two from the following five games:
  1. LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
  2. ModNation Racers
  3. Pursuit Force
  4. Killzone Liberation
Game downloads will be available 30 days after the restoration of the PlayStation store, expected to be before the end of the month.

But that's not all, there will be some free video rentals where video services are available, and as detailed earlier, 30 days free PlayStation Plus subscription for anyone who hasn't already signed up to the premium PSN service, and if you have, then you get an extra 60 days subscription for free.

Qriocity Music Unlimited customers will also get an extra 30 days plus time lost, and those on Music Unlimited trial account will get another 30 days to test out the service.

As for the other regions, more will be revealed soon, and this article will get updated when information arrives.

So PS3 gamers, is this enough to at least make you start forgiving Sony for the PSN stuff-up, or do you want more?
