Default Converting file larger than 1Gb Crashes Flaskmpeg?

It works great for 1Gb files. I use CladDVD XP for ripping. I can rip just fine 1Gb, 4Gb or one big file. Those files play just fine.

Then when I attempt to convert them using flaskMpeg, only the 1Gb files work. Everything gets converted just the way I want.

When I attempt to open the fies 4Gb and more, FlaskMpeg simply exits. Bug? What's up?

I tried Gordian Knot and it seems just too complicated for me, so I'd rather stick with FlaskMpeg but splitting a movie in 4, 5 or 6 files is a little cumbersome.

I'm sure some of you experienced people know an easy way out of this.

Thanks!

Unless something has changed with the more recent versions of Flask, it's limited to 300,000 frames. If you're using the "standard" .AVI plugin, you're limited to 2Gigs (Open DML .AVI is not limited to 2 Gigs)...

Just remember to use divx 5.02 with GK, 5.03 isnt working with it yet.

Default Fishy! I knew it!

Heh, There's *NEVER* been anything I couldn't get to work right on computers. So when I was failing with GKnot, I was really surprised.

Use DivX 5.02 and *NOT* 5.03

OK, got it. Thanks a million guys

Default Hey, Hi! It's me again! :-|

...And How do I go about procuring this winsome DivX 5.0.2 PRO?

All I get on the official DivX site is 5.0.3 ... !

'cause, being new, I don't want to mess with the GK 0.28 ALPHA, not having successfully used 0.27 yet.......
