Those horizontal "combing" lines are indicative of the need to apply a deinterlacing filter at some point during your conversion process...

Apply a Deinterlacer filter from within the Filters section of nandub. I recommend Smart Deinterlace, as you have control over many more parameters, than the plain vanilla deinterlacer. This method works well for beginners.

i would also like 2 know what settings you use for 2 pass using nandub and msmpeg v2 as mine are not small. They are same as 2 pass with divx 4.12

Thanx a lot

I wouldn't care about the size. I would be more concerned about the quality. How is it?

i ahve not used the smart deinterlacing filter as i heard the bob deinterlacing filter works better as it does not smooth unlike the smart deinterlacing filter.

What do you think?

Why don't you simply experiment with each of the filters (and the other deinterlace filters floating around the 'net) and make your own determination as to which suits your needs best?

You may find that different deinterlace filters satisfy the requirements of different videos...
