Default Key frame

I have posted this before a long time ago and got some help.
however Im still having problems with these dam key frames.
using vdub.. I know about the re-derive option. but this works
with in a a few second. But Im trying to split files within a second
not a few second. I know there was an option to add more key frames
but damed if I can remember how to do it. and the three seconds of this
commercial is driving me nuts!! Any help??

Solveig AVI Trimmer supposedly supports splitting avi at non Key frames.

Newer versions of VirtualDub offer smart rendering, presumably for frame accurate cuts.
