Search the forum for 'nero vcd encoding' and you will find it is not recommanded.
Most popular is TMPEnc (http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/do...s/tmpgenc.html). VCDEasy (http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?n...nloads#VCDEasy) also works for me.

One Hour and 29 min went by and it's 9% still , very slow using Nero

I will try this other software that you mentioned ...So you think it will fit all in one cd 700 mb ?

I doubt that the whole thing will fit on one cd in (S)VCD format. At least two is realistic. But be aware that (S)VCD is not a regular data cd. You can put up to 800MB of video data onto a 700MB CD. And TMPEG does a good job.

By the way, there are some DVD standalone players available now capable of playing DIVX. I just bought myself a KISS DP-450 and after upgrading it's firmware to 2.6.5 it played my DIVX5.02 files perfectly
