Default A Problem when encoding with XVID...need help.

hello
i have a problem when i'm adding subtitles to a movie with virtualdub.
the problem is that in the computre the movie is running well and with no problem but in the DVD player its showing me slow motion for some seconds many times in the movie and its only with the new release of xvid, with the old release of Xvid its ok..
can someone help me and tell me why? what can i do to fix it?
i checked it in other dvd players and its the same..

Use the old version of XviD to encode your videos...
