Exclamation-2 Riff files

Recently recovered files from my hard drive and about 91 gigs worth of home video were recovered with a riff extension. I made these movies with pinnacle studio. Is there any way to restore these to AVI or other format? I know that riff is a file structure for AVI and other multimedia.
Any help would be appreciated.
