Default xvid to dvd

if i have a movie on my hard drive in xvid/divx/avi/ etc. how do i convert it to put it on a dvd disc that plays on my home player?

one method i use is a program called tmpgenc , then tmpgenc dvd author....

dvd decrypter is free and meant for dvd's.

no it is for dvd's.

yes but none that i can suggest as the few freeware programs i used gave poor results. other posters will surely have suggestions for you.
