Hi Liverpool,

If you are running Vista 64-bit ... make sure you install both Vista Codec Pack for 32-bit and 64-bit.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multime...mponents.shtml

BTW, if the 32-bit one choked on installation ... just do a "Custom Install" AND uncheck the first choice which is really not needed.

Hi Guys,

I did K-lite codec pack for my Vista install. Are these better?

It would be good to know for Liverpool and I

Thanks

HI Burrell,

According to Shark007 author of Vista Codec Pack(VCP) ... he got tired of K-Lite of "EXTRA" junk (probably Adware or what not) ... so he made his own Codec Pack.

It appears that MOST people are trusting his Codec Pack and going toward him.

So ... hope that answered your Q.

But don't forget if you do want to install his VCP ... you must uninstall K-Lite stuff ...

If any problems ... post back or start a New Thread for VCP ...

G!
