Default Converting video formats to .wmv and .mov and compression?

New to the forum, so I hope I'm posting to the right spot!

I'm trying to submit videos to juicecaster, but they only accept files in a .wmv and .mov format and with a 5mb size limit.

Is there step-by-step instructions anywhere that anyone can think of? I am not a techie kind of guy and don't have software, but will certainly download something if told to.

I have an 8mb file in an mp4 format from my vid camera phone. So although I'd appreciate instructions for mp4 specifically, I'm sure I'll come across other formats.

Any help is really appreciated!

Also, they accept .3gp formats too. I have no idea what that means, but just in case it makes things easier...

Hi madddmoney,

You can use Windows Movie Maker to encode .avi files to .wmv files. You have to have the right codecs for your files though. You can use GSpot to determine what codecs are needed and then google for them

lisa_8023: All your posts are there to promote WinAVI, and it goes against forum rule 12. If you continue, you will be banned and your software may be removed from Digital Digest altogether.
