Default Converting .vob to mpeg

I'm trying to convert the studio trailers on this site (digital-digest.com):
http://www.digital-digest.com/movies...hp?type=studio

I've tried several conversion programs but they either don't recognize the .vob file or it gives me numerous errors when trying to read the file prior to conversion. I'm thinking that these by be some other type of file with a .vob extension.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to convert these to mpeg?

Thanks

Change the extension to mpg.

Note, last time I looked at these trailers, some DD ones were corrupt. I helped some guy out about a year ago. Search the forums for DD Train.

Regards

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.

Blutack/Forkart,
Thanks for responding!
As recommended I changed the extension to .mpg and placed the file in ProShow Gold and I was able to play it. The only problem is it only partially plays (ie: if the trailer if 25 sec in length, it only play the first 18 sec). I tried it in Windows Media Player, the trailer played all the way through but time lenght shown in WMP window displayed 18sec. I'm beginning to think that what Blutack said about corrupted files is true.
Does anybody have other ideas to try?
Also is there another website to get some clean trailers specifically 20th Century Fox intro?

Forkart,
I tried yasa video converter and it didn't recognize the .vob file, probably because of this time issue.

Thanks
