Default DVcam - how to see time code on screen & burn

I have a Sony DSR 45A. I want to burn a DVD with the time code visible on the DVD. I know this is possible, because we've done it before. But it's been awhile and after a half hour at the machine and a half hour online, I can't find the answer.
