Default dvd to avi

Hi guys. Can anyone recommend the best tool for converting dvd to avi, plus a guide if not too much trouble. Cheers.

i like meGUI but AutoGK is ideal for beginners

Win Avi will also do this i find it very easy to use too

look here for a good list of tools
you can see how each tool is rated. Fairuse gives good results and is easy to use although the free version is now limited to an output of 700 mg.
