Cool Help with Mpeg layer-3 codex

Movies with ac3 sound I'm able to turn up the voices with a ac3 codex I've gotten from http:\\ac3filter.sourceforge.net

but my problem is with one CD movies, because they are coded with MPEG Layer-3 codex. And I haven't found a way to turn up the voices on these movies. The background sounds are way to high so that it's almost impossible to hear what they are saying. It is if the 2 sound tracks (voices and background) has switch places

Is it possible to turn up voices when It's coded with MPEG 3 and If yes, how??

The Sasami Player (and, perhaps, others) has a built-in equalizer - on which you can raise the mid-range (vocal)...
