Default Sound problem on xVid Movie

Hello,


I have the movie - Hulk, (2 cd┤s), in xVid format, but when i playing the movie, the sound its weird.

The sound goes lound, then goes lower, then it desapeards, then goes louder again... why does this happen?

Can you guys help me

Xvid is a video codec, it does not affect the sound.

Try opening the movie in VirtualDub. If you're real desperate, you could extract the audio to .mp3 format and then use MP3Gain to normalise the audio throughout the entire movie, then mux it back with VirtualDubMod again.
