Default Uncompressed video 360p, and 480p

I was curious about the size of an uncompressed 360p and 480p video per second. I would guess something like 6 mb and 20 mb but if someone actually knew that would be great. Also, I have always been confused by this (probably since I am new to this) but 360p is just using 360 pixels per inch so it doesn't matter how big the screen that is the size it will use 360 pixels per inch? Or, does it go by some other standard? If so how does that work out? Thanks for all your help

360p simple refers to the video having 360 lines of vertical resolution (so, from top to bottom of the picture, there are 360 pixels), and the 'p' refers to the progressive nature of the video (where each frame is a complete image - 'i' refers to interlaced, where each frame only holds half of the image, eg. the first frame holds the odd lines, and the next frames holds the even lines).

360p is not used all that commonly I don't think, apart from YouTube videos, and it typically has a resolution of 640x360 I think. 480p is a bit more common, more likely 720x480.

In order to work out the uncompressed video size, you also need to know the framerate of the video (eg. 23.976, 25 or 29.97). A quick Google search revealed this little web calculator, which may be of use to you:
