Default wmv license

I downloaded a wmv file that says it will look for a license when I try to open it; does anyone know what this means?

Is there any way of opening the file, or converting format to avoid this license need?

Help wanted, any information or opinion will be appreciated.

Thanks and regards

More than likely, it means that if you want to view the video (on ONE computer), you have to pay for it.

This is not "that type" of forum...
