Default AviDemux is cool

I'm still fairly clueless when it comes to audio. I often use AviDemux to
unpack an avi or divx before burning it to play on a stand-alone. Sometimes
if it had mp3 audio with some unusual bit rate I would use the Lame in AviDemux to encode it to 128 kbit.

Then I though why not try converting to ac3 just for grins?
Kinda' slowed things down a lot though. Unpacking is almost
as fast as a copy operation. Then I thought why not check
out BeLight that I almost never use and try that?

So I loaded the .avi file in AviDemux. From audio menu did Save.
Drag & drop the .mp3 audio onto BeLight. Click the AC3 Tab, and
click Save and saved it to filename.ac3.

Went back to AviDemux Audio menu selected Main Track and clicked
external ac3 and browsed to the file. Then just did a Save to save
the remuxed .avi file. I know I could have used the audio conversion
in AviDemux but I haven't bothered to figure out which library I
should use or what settings. So I let BeLight do the thinking for
me. Works and it's fast!!
