Exclamation-2 Any Info On How To Convert An Avi Or Mpeg To A Dvd

do u know how to covert an avi file(really mpeg but says AVI) to a dvd. i have all the things needed like Gspot, AVIcodec, etc. I dont know how to continue the process once ive rendered the file. The codec won't show up ( by the way what is a codec?). any way if u could help me it would me much aprecciated and if not than recommend me to someone who could.

first get these ........

1: TMPGEnc Plus
2: TMPGEnc DVD Author
3: video studio 8 trial for any editing if u wanna do (optional)

if u have a avi file u need to encode it to mpeg2 dvd complient file.

for that use TMPGEnc's wizard to make mpeg2 file. then use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make dvd structure and burn using nero.

if already got a mpeg2 dvd complient file just use DVD Author to make a dvd structure out of it. and burn later.

DVD Author will also burn if ur using Windows XP.

You can try my tool DIKO, check the signature. It's aimed exactly to do this conversion in the best way possible.
