Default Encoded Mpeg doesn't open

I just converted a video into SVCD format using TMPGEnc. The original video file was a ".ogm" and i change the extension to ".avi" in command prompt. I converted the file in two seperate parts. THe first part is just fine but after i encode the second part, the second file doesn't open. I Gspot, i rendered it but the rendering didn't work. It just went all the way to the end and just froze. I ripped the audio and chagne into ".wav" before encoding. Please help me solve my problem.
